Brush Your Shoes

When shining your shoes you need good brush to spread out the polish and get the polish into all those hard to reach places.

Large Shine BrushUsually when you put polish on your shoe using a brush or foam dauber the polish is centered on the large areas of leather on your shoe. To spread the polish out some people use the dauber, but they are usually saturated with the shoe cream or polish. This will cause the polish to fill the seams, eyelets and other places it might get caught.

Using a large shine brush to spread it all out will prevent this from happening and produce a matte finish. It will also allow you use less polish to shine your shoes.

For a quick polish you can use the same large shine brush you've used before to quickly brush dirt off your shoes and a little of the old polish will rub off on the shoe. You can then use a shine cloth to buff your shoe to a shine. This is great if you're just leaving for an important appointment.
